Maryland Museums Association Leads Way in Advocating for Restoration of Museum Assistance Program (MAP)

In a recent meeting, the Maryland Museums Association (MMA) discussed MMA’s major priority – the return of the State's Museum Assistance Program (MAP). The state’s Museum Assistance Program grants existed from FY98 to FY12 with a peak of $2.2M in FY07 -- but some years as low as $40,000 and $127,000.
