In 2022, the Chesapeake Crossroads Heritage Area brought $367,768 in state funding to capital and non-capital projects at heritage sites, museums, and non-profit organizations in our area, as well as three grants to Chesapeake Crossroads, which include support for our important Mini-Grant program. The Assistant Administrator of the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority (MHAA), Andrew Arivzu, has notified Chesapeake Crossroads Heritage Area that an eleventh grant has been awarded in our heritage area in FY2022. Reserve List funding in the amount of $40,000 has been awarded to Annapolis Maritime Museum for its project, "Outdoor Exhibits: An Extension of 'Our Changing Waterfront'."
