Additional MHAA Grant Funding Supports Local Maritime Museum

The Assistant Administrator of the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority (MHAA), Andrew Arivzu, has notified Chesapeake Crossroads Heritage Area that an eleventh grant has been awarded in our heritage area in FY2022. Reserve List funding in the amount of $40,000 has been awarded to Annapolis Maritime Museum for its project, “Outdoor Exhibits: An Extension of ‘Our Changing Waterfront’.” This brings the total of MHAA support to the heritage area to $454,039 for FY2022. Congratulations to the Annapolis Maritime Museum for receiving this significant support for its ongoing efforts to add new educational features to its museum campus!
