Maryland has officially moved into Stage Two of COVID-19 Recovery, and so has Anne Arundel County! Our heritage sites are beginning to open to the public as well. Here's what's open this weekend in the Four Rivers Heritage Area. Historic Annapolis announced that the William Paca Garden, will be open to the public as of Friday, June 12 at 10:00 am. The Hogan administration recently announced that the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority (MHAA) has awarded 59 matching grants totaling $600,440 to heritage tourism nonprofits located in Maryland’s 13 Certified Heritage Areas. These grant funds support emergency operating costs that will help keep nonprofit organizations operational, as the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated economic ramifications continue.
