The Maryland Office of Tourism is hoping you’ll be part of International Underground Railroad Month, read on to learn more about how your heritage site can participate!
This year for International Underground Railroad Month, the Maryland Office of Tourism is developing a calendar of 30 places to visit, special events, programs, and activities enabling visitors and residents to participate every day of September in an activity to learn, visit, and honor Maryland’s Underground Railroad history. Let the Maryland Office of Tourism know what you are planning. Tell them about your new tourism products, programs, events, videos, activities–and if you have a specific day you would like to have your program highlighted in September.
Start by filling out the 2021 International Underground Railroad Month Participation form.
