COME JOIN FAMILY AND NEIGHBORS FOR AN ICE CREAM SOCIAL Following CDC guidelines, the Ice Cream Social will be held outside on the museum grounds. Lots of space to spread out and enjoy. Yummy, wrapped novelty ice cream will be served. Social distancing and masks required. Maryland Day Celebration 2020 with the Galesville Heritage Society Join in the Galesville Heritage Society sponsored Maryland Day event. Eric Steinlein, a native Galesvillian, has assembled a display of maritime, hunting, and trapping tools for all to view. Dating back just to the 1950’s/1960’s, these tools are not long past, but curiously, are no longer in use. Historical Maps Exhibit

Do you like old maps? If you do, you’ll want to visit the GHS Museum on Sunday, September 18th  2-4 pm. On display will be the Hopkins 1878 atlas of Anne Arundel County with a 24 x 15 inch map of each of the districts. It’s a great way to see how much the county has changed from its more rural past to its more suburban present.
