Chesapeake Children's Museum is celebrating 25 years!  If you have never brought your children, come see what you've been missing.  If you've come before, you'll be amazed by the recent Museum Makeover including a refreshed nature trail. The creek has had work done, too, with major phragmites removal thanks to a federal grant managed by the Spa Creek Conservancy. There will be an Open House with $1 admission Saturday and Sunday, June 10 and 11, 10 am to 4 pm.  And a WYRE Radio Reunion and grown up party 5-10...

8th Annual Annapolis Arts, Crafts and Wine Festival

The Annapolis Arts, Crafts and Wine Festival is a two-day outdoor celebration of the arts, conveniently located at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. It features live music, samplings from more than 25 Maryland wineries and activities for the whole family. The event is a short distance from the many restaurants, shops and other attractions of downtown Annapolis. Admission: Adult (age 21 and up) unlimited wine tasting, $35; Under age 12, free

12th Annual Eastport Home and Garden Tour

The 12th annual Eastport Home and Garden Tour takes participants on an entertaining walk through well-appointed, sometimes historic, and always comfortable homes and gardens owned by Eastport residents. Owners will open their homes for you to enjoy many different styles of architecture, decorating and gardening. Proceeds benefit Eastport’s non-profit organizations. Admission: $20 until June 1: $25 thereafter

Dinner Under the Stars

The first block of West Street (from Church Circle to Calvert Street), located in the heart of the Arts District, will be closed to traffic on Wednesday evenings and filled with cafe tables reminiscent of the open-air cafes in France, Spain and Italy. Visitors and area residents are invited to dine, stroll and shop along West Street while enjoying live music beneath a canopy of lights.
