For over 20 years, Paint Annapolis has been the premier painting event for this sailing town, bringing the community together to share in the beauty of painting outdoors. Painting this year will take place from June 5-12. We are looking forward to seeing you this summer for another exciting week of painting these historic streets.

JUNE 5-12, 2022 Annapolis Arts Week is a week-long festival in Annapolis, Maryland. We showcase arts based events happening during the first full week of June in and around Annapolis, MD.

Maryland has a long and historic relationship with West Africa. Maryland society, its landscape, its peoples, and its institutions, were all deeply shaped by generations of West Africans brought to these shores beginning in the seventeenth century. Less well known is that thousands of Black Marylanders also returned to West Africa in the nineteenth century and left an important imprint on the other side of the Atlantic.
