Saturday Family Day: Celebrating Frederick Douglass

Come celebrate the Banneker-Douglass Museum's 34th Birthday/Anniversary! We will celebrate by honoring our namesake, Frederick Douglass.  Families with children of all ages can stop by the museum between 11am to 2pm, and celebrate the life and legacy of Frederick Douglass through fun guided tours and arts & crafts activities.  Snacks will be provided.

Succulent Arrangement Workshop

The Kunta Kinte - Alex Haley Foundation announces the creation and debut of the documentary film, Bates, Center of Excellence: Memories of Bates Teachers. This documentary was created by the Foundation as part of its ongoing effort to promote legacy endeavors in the city of Annapolis and throughout Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
