The Galesville Heritage Society 2018 Speaker Series begins with members of the village sharing their memories of the James Adams Floating Theater. Before TV or driving to the movies, the annual visit of the showboat brought music and theater to the residents of West River.

Domenic Iacono, Director, Syracuse University Art Galleries, will lecture on “About Prints: The Legacy of Stanley William Hayter and Atelier 17” at 4 p.m. in the Conversation Room, across from the Gallery. Mitchell Gallery members are invited to a wine and cheese reception immediately following the lecture.
