Concert for Annapolis Green

The international duo Janie Meneely and Rob van Sante will be travelling from their home in Whitby, England, to perform a concert of Chesapeake Bay folk music with Jefferson Holland to benefit the local environmental group, Annapolis Green. The concert will take place at the Galesville Memorial Hall on Friday, May 6, at 8 p.m. Admission is $20 per person. Advance sale tickets are available at jeffersonholland.com. Beer & wine will be available for purchase for those over 21 years of age. Soft drinks and water will also be served.

Maryland Day Celebration 2020 with the Galesville Heritage Society Join in the Galesville Heritage Society sponsored Maryland Day event. Eric Steinlein, a native Galesvillian, has assembled a display of maritime, hunting, and trapping tools for all to view. Dating back just to the 1950’s/1960’s, these tools are not long past, but curiously, are no longer in use. Eastport Oyster Boys Reunion Concert
