The first peoples who lived here for thousands of years enjoyed a culture connected to the natural world. This includes using nature for: food, medicine, homes, and tools. Share in folktales, games, and crafts of the Piscataway and other tribes of the Chesapeake Bay area. The program is appropriate for ages 4 and up. Free with admission. Free for CCM members.

Harvest Hootenanny is an annual festival held outside in the park at the Chesapeake Children's Museum. Family-friendly festivities including Activities, Music, Meet the Animals & More! Cost: $8 (museum admission included), FREE for CCM Members.
