Behind the Book Lecture Series with mystery author Marcia Talley and friend, Sujata Massey Marcia Talley and her fellow writer, Sujata Massey, will lead a discussion about mystery writing. Each will talk about her books and answer audience questions. Both of these authors are mystery writers. They will talk about their books, the writing process and answer questions from the audience. Marcia Talley' books are centered around a character, Hannah Ives, who lives in Annapolis (great local connection). Historic house tours will be avaliable and light refreshments will be served.
Professor Van Morgan and her student intern will be talking about slavery and the ways that slaves were set free in Anne Arundel County. They will share the research they have completed on this subject and will include information about the slaves who lived at Linthicum Walks.

Author Maria Grosskettler will talk about the writing and publishing of her book, Tracks. This book is about a young girl who wants to follow the tracks out of her town to escape her past. She meets all kinds of people and visits all kinds of places, all while she learns about life. $10.00
Stephanie will be talking about the writing and publishing of her newest book, "The Letters in the Books".
