Odenton Day

On Saturday, October 7, the Odenton Heritage Society will open its doors for Odenton Day, the town’s annual celebration. Enjoy museum displays depicting the growth of Odenton as a railroad center and industrial town since the 1870s. Learn how Odenton’s railroad workers connected Baltimore, Washington, and Annapolis with train service before cars and highways were common. “Odenton Eats and Treats” will feature the history of Odenton restaurants, with free food samples from today’s eateries. A shuttle bus will provide frequent service from Odenton Day activities in the OVFC firehouse to the OHS Historical Center at 1367 Odenton Road, with a narrated tour of buildings in the Historic District along the way. Hours are from 9 am to 2 pm, and admission to all activities is free.
