Frederick Douglass Exhibit Opening

Join the Maryland State Archives’ Legacy of Slavery Project as we host the exhibition opening of Strike for Freedom: Slavery, Civil War & the Frederick Douglass Family in the Walter O. & Linda Evans Collection. During this event there will be a Curator’s talk and conversation with Dr. Celeste-Marie Bernier. Learn about Dr. Bernier’s concept for the exhibition, hear about the dynamic collection of Douglass Family photographs and documents in the Walter O. and Linda Evans Collection, and celebrate the legacy of a true Maryland hero. Free and Open to the Public!
