Come celebrate the birth of our nation with one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. William Paca and several other important Annapolitans, portrayed by the Annapolis Living Historians, will welcome you into the Paca’s home as they discuss “current” events during that momentous year of our nation’s birth, 1776. After touring the house, the entire family can enjoy some patriotic crafts and explore Mr. Paca’s 2-acre pleasure garden.
After visiting with the Pacas and Annapolis’s elite upper class, stroll on over to Hogshead. More costumed reenactors will be there to tell the story of the working class of Annapolis. Learn about the lives of colonial craftspeople and how they contributed to the Revolution with their skilled labor and patriotism.
