This 60-minute program for children highlights the life of 18th century English architect, William Buckland, who designed and built the Hammond-Harwood House in 1774. The tour includes an exterior architectural scavenger hunt and a tour of the Dining Room. Children will listen to the story Iggy Peck: Architect after which they will have the opportunity to be the architect and design their own five-part historical building.

The Winifred Gordon Memorial Art and Wellness Series
In memory of the talented artist and a founder of the Hammond-Harwood House Museum, Winifred Gordon, this free series, open to the public, will have gallery talks on mediums including painting, ceramics, furniture making followed by a wellness activity. Arts, history, tradition, and heritage all come together in important and unexpected ways that can improve overall health.
