The Deale Area Historical Society invites you to its Harvest Day in the Village. Experience the past with a tour of the historic village at Herrington Harbour North. Step back in time to understand life in the early 1900’s. Enjoy homemade butter, ice cream, artisans & trades of the early twentieth century.
Join the Deale Area Historical Society for the Port Tobacco Pickers Bluegrass Music, Tobacco and Watermen’s demonstrations, Homemade Ice Cream and Butter, Gregg Prout and his beautiful model Bay Built boats, as well as other artisans and various demonstrations of local culture. The Deale Museum/Nutwell School, Holland House Beneficial Society Meeting house, 19th Century Residence, Log Smokehouse, and Dairy buildings will be open for viewing. Tours will also be conducted at 2pm and 3pm of the newly opened Russian Orthodox Church Building. Join us for a visit back in time of the history of South County. Free Admission.
