Join the Banneker-Douglass Museum and the Maryland Commission on African American History and Culture in celebrating perseverance, education, and cultural heritage at the 33rd Annual Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival! The Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival is a free, family-oriented cultural celebration for all to enjoy live music and dance performances, world foods and artisan vendors, as well as heritage and history of the African Diaspora.

Join the City of Annapolis, the Postmaster General for Annapolis, and the United States Lighthouse Society for a dedication of this new series of Forever postage stamps dedicated to the Mid-Atlantic Area and especially Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse.
