The fun of our summer concert series will continue this fall at our Park Campus (located at 7300 Edgewood Rd in Annapolis). Join us on Thursdays in September from 6 to 8 p.m. for music by the Bay! Listen to music from Rickshaw Lizard at our Park Campus. Concerts are free; however, donations are gratefully accepted. Beer and wine are available for purchase. Beverage sales support the Museum’s education program. No outside alcohol is permitted. Food trucks will be on site. Bring a chair for seating.

Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival

In September 1987, the Kunta Kinte Celebration was born in Annapolis, Maryland. Now known as the Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival, the festival is a celebration of the perseverance, education, and cultural heritage of Africans, African Americans, and Caribbean people of African descent. The festival is a volunteer-run event organized by the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Kunta Kinte Celebrations, Inc.
