June 23- Honey Sol The Tides & Tunes Summer Concert Series offers 10 weeks of popular music–from rock to folk to blues–with the incomparable backdrop of the Chesapeake Bay. Concerts are free; however, donations are gratefully accepted. Food and spirits are available for purchase. Beverage sales support the Museum’s education program. No outside alcohol is permitted. Bring a chair or blanket. Concerts will start at 7 p.m. at the Museum’s waterfront McNasby campus (723 Second St., Annapolis).

Celebrate the 4th of July all weekend with Historic Annapolis! On Saturday, explore the William Paca House & Garden, the Museum of Historic Annapolis, Hogshead, and the Waterfront Warehouse and discover the history of our city with special family activities.

Wave the Flag

Hammond-Harwood House 19 Maryland Ave, Annapolis, MD, United States

In this 60-minute program for children, we will learn about a 1783 flag designed by Annapolis cabinet maker John Shaw as well as flag designs from colonial America, the American Revolution, and the early United States. Children will listen to a story about American flags and then will have the opportunity to create a flag of their own design. Space is limited, reservations are required. $15 per child/ $10 per member’s child.
