Each Friday 7-9 pm in June, July, and August - we will have a different presenter from 7-9 pm. These people will play music, make art with us, and talk about local history. The event you look forward to every year is here again. Strawberry wine, strawberry shortcake and chocolate covered strawberries will be on sale, and Acousticafe is back to provide the music. 50 crafters will fill the grounds, and several food trucks will be on hand to satisfy those hunger pangs.
This 60-minute program for children highlights the life of 18th century English architect, William Buckland, who designed and built the Hammond-Harwood House in 1774. The tour includes an exterior architectural scavenger hunt and a tour of the Dining Room. Children will listen to the story Iggy Peck: Architect after which they will have the opportunity to be the architect and design their own five-part historical building.
