Virtual Event: The Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse: A Chesapeake Bay Icon in Annapolis

David Gendell, Author, Sailor, and Co-founder of SpinSheet and PropTalk Magazines will discuss the history of Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse (TPSL) including the rise of the port of Baltimore, the early lighthouses on the peninsula, and the construction of the screwpile on the shoal. He will provide a look at noteworthy TPSL keepers and an overview of the current state of the lighthouse. Lectures are $10 or free for AMM Members.

Virtual Twelfth Night Concert: A Highland Holiday

Announcing Elan’s annual Twelfth Night Concert: A Highland Holiday! Join Hammond-Harwood House for a virtual evening of festive Scottish music and cheer, featuring poems and songs by Robert Burns and traditional Highland tunes. Rachel Lovett, Assistant Director of the Hammond-Harwood House Museum, will illuminate connections to Scottish heritage and share the museum’s beautiful decorations for the Christmas season.

This event is pre-recorded. On the day of the concert, the private link to the YouTube premiere will be sent to you via the email address provided at the time of your purchase and you will be able to watch it anytime between Saturday, January 2nd through Tuesday, January 12th. Price is $40 or $35 for Members.
