Chesapeake Crossroads Heritage Area (CCHA) is accepting applications for a college-level aspiring professional for an internship position to support, develop, and implement programs and events in commemoration of the Semiquincentennial and help broaden interest and public awareness of the anniversary.
The intern will work closely with the CCHA Executive Director, with support from the Board of Directors and a variety of partners and stakeholders. They will investigate and research heritage sites and historical narratives to uncover compelling, lesser-known, or underrepresented “250th Stories.”
Letters of interest, and supporting documentation is due by Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 5pm. Candidates will be contacted for an interview the following week (May 12-16, 2025) and a selection and offer of the internship will be made the following week,(no later than Friday May 23, 2025.)
