Pop-Up Heritage FREE Events Kick Off in June!

Pop-Up Heritage is a new series of FREE special events each month in the Four Rivers Heritage Area. Join us in June for our inaugural event:

“Preserving Digital Prints: Protecting Your Photos and Ink jet Documents from the 1980s to Now”
with Maria Day, Director of Special Collections and Conservation at Maryland State Archives
Tuesday, June 6, 3:00 p.m.
Visit Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Visitors Center
John C. Astle Conference Room
26 West Street, Annapolis

In the 1980s, many new technologies allowed us to print photos faster and cheaper! Archivists and conservators are finding that some of the printing methods used to print them are vulnerable to fade or sensitive to water damage. This Pop-Up Heritage talk is for you if you are thinking about how to preserve photographs and digitally-printed documents created in the past 30 years.
