It is hard to fathom, but the FY2025 MHAA Grant Opportunity is right around the corner! Act now to firm up your project description, build a project timeline and budget, plan the sources of your match, seek support from partners, and request estimates from potential contractors. IMPORTANT: ARE YOU PLANNING “MARYLAND 250” ACTIVITIES? THIS GRANT ROUND WILL GIVE YOU SUFFICIENT TIME TO FULLY PLAN AND EXECUTE A “MARYLAND 250” PROGRAM.

The dates of the grant round are:

December 18: Online Grant application goes live — this means all updated grant materials and the Intent to Apply form. All grants in the MHAA program will require 1:1 match in FY2025.

December 18: Grant Workshops begin (led by MHAA staff, some in-person and others virtual — recordings will be available)

Now is the time (December and January) to contact your HA Director, Carol Benson, to discuss your project — e-mail [email protected] to set up a call, meeting, or zoom.

January 26, 2024: Intent to Apply forms are due online. Everyone who files an Intent to Apply form should expect to proceed to working on the full application, there is no “invitation” sent.

February 2024: During February while grant writers are working, applicants are welcome to contact HA Director, Carol Benson, to ask for clarifiacation of application details or feedback about their draft application.

March 4, 2024: Full Applications are due online. This is available only to to those who have submitted an Intent to Apply.

In the CCHA, there will be an opportunity to revise the application and resubmit. Details will be provided to applicants.

July 11, 2024: FY2025 Grant notification date.
