Miller History Fund Grant Cycle Announced for FY2025

The Maryland Center for History and Culture (MCHC) has announce that the sixth grant cycle of the Thomas V. “Mike” Miller, Jr. History Fund is now open and accepting applications.

Last year, MCHC celebrated the fifth anniversary of the Miller History Fund, which has now granted $1 million to organizations across Maryland since its inception in 2019. We look forward to seeing all the exciting, innovative project ideas that showcase the breadth of passion and expertise you bring to the state’s history sector.

Full details on applicant eligibility and evaluation criteria are included in the FY 2025 grant guidelines. A live webinar and Q&A session is scheduled for October 15, in addition to opportunities to schedule one-on-one consultation calls with program staff. A snapshot of important dates for this year’s cycle is included below:

· September 13, 2024: FY 2025 guidelines and application materials published
· October 15, 2024: Live webinar with Q&A session
· November 8, 2024: Letters of Intent (LOIs) due
· November 15–29, 2024: Optional customer service sessions available
· December 6, 2024: Full applications due
· February 2025: Award announcements made
· April 2025: Grant period begins
