Maryland 250 Commission Virtual Statewide Convenings and Virtual Office Hours

Michele Johnson, Director of the Maryland 250 Commission has released the 2024 schedule of virtual statewide convenings and virtual office hours.  Please email Maryland 250 Assistant Administrator, Erin Bode, at [email protected] to request calendar invitations for virtual convenings and/or virtual office hours. 

Virtual statewide convenings are scheduled every six weeks, starting with the inaugural convening on Wednesday, February 21, at 3:00pm with an overview of the 250th and national and state themes. Each virtual convening will begin with a brief presentation; then, stakeholders will have an opportunity to share updates on the status of their 250th planning; and there will be an opportunity to ask questions of stakeholders from around the state. Additional topics planned include launching a local 250th Commission; funding and marketing for the 250th; service opportunities for the 250th; civic engagement and the 250th; and history.  If you have any ideas or requests for topics, please let Michele and Erin know.  Here are the dates for virtual convenings:
