Just Announced for Annapolis Small Businesses and Nonprofits: Emergency Funding for Recovery from January 9 Flooding

Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation (AAEDC) has announced: Following the State of Emergency declaration made by the City of Annapolis on January 12, 2024, AAEDC’s VOLT program has been allocated funds from the Maryland Small, Minority and Women-Owned Business Account to assist businesses and non-profits impacted by the flooding event on January 9 and 10, 2024.

AAEDC will accept applications for grants to help non-profits and small, minority-owned, woman-owned, and Veteran-owned businesses recover from the damage and pause in operations sustained from the flooding. The funding comes from the State’s bipartisan Small, Minority and Women-Owned Business Account disaster relief program legislation. Read more here.
