Information for Car-Top Boaters to Get Out on the Water

If you are a car-top boater, there are new resources to help you get out onto the water!

Start with the advice of experts: a group called the Friends of Anne Arundel County Water Trail has developed a website with numerous maps and detailed information about how and where you can launch your kayak, for the entire stretch of County coastline! You can also follow the Facebook page of a group called the Public Water Access Committee. For the City of Annapolis water access sites, you can download this brochure.

Anne Arundel County has also created a useful webpage that details water access points from County Parks. There are new facilities coming online this summer, so stay tuned, and enjoy!
