Highlighting March Downtown Annapolis Events

What's NewOur friends at the Downtown Annapolis Partnership have been working hard to keep us busy this March, together with our own Maryland Day Weekend event and St. Patrick’s Day, of course! Join in throughout the month for these events in downtown Annapolis, all great ways to support some of your favorite local businesses and organizations.

Annapolis Oyster Fest

Dates: March 1 to March 21 (Happening Now!)

Featuring the Maryland Oyster, a Maryland seafood delicacy that goes perfectly with a craft beer. This culinary event features our area’s local restaurants that will serve oyster and Eastern Shore Brewing beer specials for both dine-in and carry-out. Visit the Annapolis Oyster Fest website to learn more about each restaurant’s oyster specials.

Maryland Day Weekend

Dates: March 19-21

An event near and dear to all of us in the Four Rivers Heritage Area, Maryland Day Weekend is a unique heritage-based group of events in Annapolis and southern Anne Arundel County. Maryland Day celebrations are a hit with family and friends getting together (socially distanced, of course) to experience the local history, culture and heritage of the region. This year’s Maryland Day Celebration will be better than ever! The theme is Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We’ll have new experiences, both in-person and virtual, during this three-day weekend full of great family-friendly activities. You won’t want to miss it. The events listings are on the website, www.marylandday.org.

Annapolis Restaurant Week

Dates: March 20-28

Participating Annapolis restaurants offer prix fixe menus for you to enjoy. You can indulge in a two-course breakfast, two-course lunch, or three-course dinner. Some restaurants even have bonus specials! Plus for this year select locations will be offering restaurant week carry-out deals and to-go liquor deals. So whether you are ready to dine out or carryout we have you covered this year. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to treat yourself or your friends to delicious meals at reasonable prices. Reservations are recommended as this is a popular week to dine out and restaurant capacities are restricted to ensure social distancing.

We look forward to seeing you downtown!
