Getting Involved!: Maryland Day Celebration 2026

November 19, 2025

March 19 – 25, 2026

Each spring for the past 18 years, our heritage partners have kicked off their season, and opened their doors inviting locals, students, and visitors alike to explore and discover historic sites, cultural institutions, and natural resources across Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, MD. Signing up as a partner is the first step and then our team will be by your side to help you get creative– Whether you plan to host special events, open houses, guest speakers, programs and events, yours are the places and the stories that showcase our Chesapeake Crossroads Heritage Area as a microcosm of the State. With the goal of making Maryland Day Celebrations accessible to all, we hope that each site can offer some part of their programming during this week-long celebration to visitors for free or just $1.

We invite you to register as a Maryland Day Partner through our new “Partner Portal.”

The new website provides everything you need to get onboard as a Maryland Day Partner Site or Organization. After you register, you can submit as many events or programs under your organizational profile, then let’s get to work!

New this year is our “Speaker’s Bureau,” with local authors, scholars, and historical researchers who have shared their willingness to provide presentations or lectures, but they need a place to present.
