FY26 Public Art Across Maryland Grant cycle is Now Open!
Are you eager to unite your community through art and transform an outdoor space in your neighborhood? Do you know a story that deserves to be shared, or have a vision to help people reflect on their world? There may be an overlooked artwork in your community that deserves extra attention to help it shine again… The Maryland State Arts Council’s Public Art Across Maryland grants could be the resource you need to take the next big step in realizing your goals.
There are two types of grants available:
New Artworks grants provide support for planning, creating, and installing a new work of public art. Read the full New Artworks Grant Guidelines for more information.
- Planning Grants: $10,000
- Project Grants: up to $30,000
Conservation grants support local organizations in the conservation, preservation, and relocation of public artworks within the state of Maryland.Read the full Conservation Grant Guidelines for more information.
- Planning Grants: $10,000
- Project Grants: up to $30,000
The deadline to apply to either grant is 11:59 pm, December 12, 2025
