Enjoy a day on the Farm committed to family fun, entertainment, history, and wonder. Visit Goshen Farm’s Annual Spring Open House on Saturday, April 13th, from 10 am to 2 pm. Gather the family and drive to 1420 Cape St. Claire Road, Annapolis, 21409, to learn about the history of Goshen Farm, the last Colonial-era farm on the Broadneck Peninsula. Admission and parking are FREE. Donations are gladly accepted and benefit the preservation and restoration of historic Goshen Farm.

CAC celebrates World Art Day at our 3rd Annual FREE Open House. Featuring fun, creative, and interactive activities for the whole family, the Open House will feature a variety of arts activities representing cultures from around the world. Every studio and classroom at CAC as well as our Black Box theater and galleries will be filled with enriching and inspirational art experiences.

Plant Prints Workshop

Historic London Town and Gardens 839 Londontown Road, Edgewater

Bring some botany home for your walls. Using a variety of leaves and natural objects, create and frame your own unique print. The program will conclude with a guided garden tour to point out the stunning array of leaves you can see in our 10-acre woodland gardens.​ Member tickets: $15 Non-member tickets: $20 Pre-registration required. Must be 10 years or older to register.

Colonial Conversations: The Printer and the Midwife

Hogshead 43 Pinkney Street, Annapolis

Step into Hogshead and encounter two working women of 18th century Annapolis. It is the year 1774, and you can listen in on an intimate conversation…hear the latest in poultices, salves, and patent medicines for what ails you from a colonial midwife, Charlotte Small, as she gives advice of the era to printer Annapolis printer, Anne Catharine Green, whose daughter is in childbed…for the 11th time. Registration available, but not required. Cost: Pay-What-You-Can (your donations support programs like these – thank you!)

Annearrundell County Free School Museum Open House

Annearrundell County Free School Museum 1298 LaVall Drive, Davidsonville

The Annearrundell County Free School was established in 1723.  It is perhaps the oldest remaining one-room schoolhouse in Maryland.  Guests of all ages visiting the Free School Museum can experience educational practices from the 1700’s, when books and paper were scarce, and educational practices from the 1800’s, when Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic were the basics of the curriculum.  The Free School Museum has several displays, including artifacts found on the property, a collection of textbooks used over 150 years ago, and toys that children might have played with in colonial...
