How did people write letters before the invention of email or even the ballpoint pen? Come learn to cut your own quill pen and practice your best colonial calligraphy as you learn about writing in the 18th century. You’ll find out how trees in Syria helped create inks for American customers, why you can’t use just any feather as a pen, and how paper helped spark the American Revolution.​ This program is for adults.
