Virtual Lecture – A Restoration of Faith: William Paca’s Governorship, 1782-85

William Paca served as Maryland’s third state governor as the Revolutionary War wound down, peace was restored, and the new state and nation struggled to find their footing in a reshaped world. Glenn E. Campbell, retired Senior Historian of Historic Annapolis, explores how Governor Paca worked to inspire a renewal of confidence in government following years of wartime upheaval.
