The Peer Learning Partnership at Anne Arundel Community College is presenting a lecture by Chris Haley, including a broad overview of enslavement in Maryland with a focus on Anne Arundel County.
Christopher E. Haley of the Maryland State Archives and the Director of its “Study, Legacy of Slavery in Maryland,” will use primary 18th and 19th Centuries documents to provide a glimpse into the vast universe of experience that shaped the lives of
Maryland’s African American population.
The presentation will be held in CALT 100.
