“Taking tea” was an important part of life in the colonies. Learn about the social aspect of tea and the accouterments that were required for a lady of the gentry, as well as the lower classes. Bring your own treasured teacup and enjoy an authentic colonial tea with sweets and savories while catching up on the latest news and gossip of the era.
Kimberly Walters, author and living historian, will present this special presentation on our tented terrace overlooking the William Paca Garden. Recommended for ages 13+.
