Join the Hammond-Harwood House education department for a special summer program series that gets kids up close and personal with 18th century Annapolis. In our June program, children will go on an architectural scavenger hunt which teaches children about the unique layout and ornamental details found on the mansion. Lesson will focus on the life of architect William Buckland, his apprentice John Randall, and enslaved craftsman, Oxford.
The children will learn about map making and have an opportunity to design their own city.
