Revolutionary London Town

Experience the heady days of 1776 and join the people of London Town in exploring what “independence” really means. Meet individuals from London Town’s past and discover what they thought of the Revolution. Join us in listening to a reading of the Declaration of Independence, try your hand at some colonial crafts, and play tavern games in our newly restored William Brown House.

London Town will be partnering with the United States Marine Corps Historical Company and the Chesapeake Independent Blues to bring you black powder demonstrations and a marine recruitment station.
