Join Historic Annapolis for a delightful day trip from Annapolis to Philadelphia and explore the rich history of Fairmount Park! This special excursion includes guided tours of three magnificent historic homes:
Woodford Mansion (1756-1758): An example of the early “summer retreats” that were built along the Schuylkill River during the 1700s and 1800s by affluent Americans.
Strawberry Mansion (1789): The largest of the Fairmount Park Historic Houses filled with antiques, fine art, and collectible treasures from the 1700’s and 1800’s.
Mount Pleasant (1762): One the grandest homes ever built along the Schuylkill River, once called “the most elegant seat in Pennsylvania”, this exclusive access tour is led by Alexandra Kirtley, the Curator of American Decorative Arts at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
