Join us for a three hour boat tour of Jug Bay with naturalist and osprey expert, Greg Kearns, who will share the history of the region, its ecology, and the efforts being made to protect and preserve the vital species who make the wetlands their home. You will have an opportunity to see ospreys up close and learn about the banding process.
The tour is recommended for adults and kids aged 12+.
Greg Kearns, a M-NCPPC naturalist for over 35 years at Patuxent River Park in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, is an expert birder and renowned authority on sora rail birds, ospreys, and the wetland ecology of Jug Bay.
