Mr. Paca’s Garden Storytime: Bear Stays Up For Christmas

December 17 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Mr. Paca’s Garden Storytime is a fun hour full of reading and activities in the William Paca Garden, a secret treasure in the Historic District of Annapolis. Each program is designed for little ones, 3-7 years, with a book reading, song, and craft/art project.

This Week’s Book: Bear Stays Up For Christmas by Karma Wilson & Jane Chapman

Bear struggles to stay awake during the group’s holiday preparations, but his friends are determined to keep him awake for Christmas! So they wake Bear up and have him help them find a Christmas tree, bake cakes, hang up stockings, and sing Christmas songs. Soon his friends fall asleep, but Bear stays up. He’s so busy with his work that he misses the appearance of Santa, who pauses at the cave door to fill all their stockings. In Bear Stays Up for Christmas, we discover that giving is one of the best Christmas presents of all. Join us as we sing and dance in anticipation of the holidays! We will create a special Christmas craft!
