Homeschool Day: Colonial Construction-Elementary Students

October 22 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am

Step back in time and explore the science and engineering behind colonial homes! This immersive homeschool program invites students to discover how grand homes like the William Paca House were designed and built.

Through hands-on activities and guided exploration, participants will learn the basics of construction and design in the 1700s. Students will build mini structures, test materials, and learn about Georgian architecture while applying STEM principles. In comparing colonial building techniques with modern methods, students will gain a deeper appreciation for the innovation and hard work of early builders.

Advance registration required. This program is suitable for students in elementary through high school.

Cost: $10 per Student (5-17); Free for one Adult Chaperone per student group; Additional Adults $10 per person
