Hands-On History Day: Preservation Celebration

Visit the Museum of Historic Annapolis on the second Sunday of every month for Hands-On History Days. Drop in any time between 10 am and 2 pm for special family activities – a new theme each month means you and your family will want to visit again and again! Activities are included with Museum admission.

In May, we are celebrating Preservation Month and sharing all about the importance of historic preservation!

  • Engage with a preservationist and learn about the ongoing restoration of the James Brice House
  • Learn about 18th century decorative architecture and patterns – and create your own designs!
  • Explore the Museum and discover the many stories about the preservation of our historic city throughout Annapolis: An American Story
  • Read stories different kinds of historic architecture in our Anne Arundel County Public Library Book Nook

Advance registration recommended, but not required.

Cost: $5 General Admission (10+) ; FREE for Children 9 and under, HA Members, and SNAP/WIC through the Museums for All program
