Generation Douglass

Generation Douglass brings together panelists who specialize in the history of

Frederick Douglass to give 15-20 minute addresses on their research and experiences

exploring the history and legacy of Frederick Douglass. After the individual presentations,

a moderated panel discussion will take place with Q&A. Presenters include Professor Dale G. Green

of Morgan State University and the Maryland Commission on African American History

and Culture, Dr. Clara L. Smalls, ret. from Salisbury State University, Mr. Lou C. Fields of the African American Tourism Council of Maryland and Jada Jackson of Baltimore’s Western High School.
