Erosion & Sedimentation at the 19th-Century Sellman House

November 13, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

What marks do two centuries of farming leave on the land? In this talk, Sarah Grady will show how two Maryland families unintentionally altered the terrain through everyday activities, at a plantation called Sellman’s Connection. She’ll also reveal how analyzing artifacts and sediment can offer new ways to document these hidden histories. Free and open to all!
