Author Talk and Book Signing: Blessings Beyond Measure

June 10, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The Banneker-Douglass Museum hosts a quarterly Author Talk and Book Signing featuring conversational discussions on History and Culture in Maryland led by authors who write about the African American experience.

Dr. Annette Mallory Donawa’s experience in education spans more than 30 years. She has served as the Director of an Accreditation Commission for alternative medicine (ACAOM), as well as the Deputy Director of a NASA-funded university research grant within the School of Engineering at Morgan State University. Her doctoral research in critical thinking supported the Maryland State Department of Education’s science, technology, engineering, and mathematics initiatives. She currently serves on the Johns Hopkins Continuing Medical Education (CME) Advisory Board, and the MOC Portfolio Program Expert Reviewer Panel.

Blessings Beyond Measure will inspire and strengthen you to get through your busy schedules and help you endure tough times. The poems span decades of the author’s real-life experiences, from raising young children to facing health challenges. Some poems are uplifting, while some poems question life, emotions, and experiences.
