28th Annual Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival

Take a quick trip to the homeland of Kunta Kinte for a celebration of West African heritage. Enjoy a full schedule of live performances, including traditional drumming and dancing. Try your hand at mask making and other crafts in the children’s tent. Come dressed in your most vibrant colors and/or plan to treat yourself to a new outfit from the marketplace of African wares. The family-friendly event celebrates the perseverance, education and cultural heritage of people of African descent.
