Maryland Day Celebration: You’re Invited to a Wedding!

Step back in time with us as we celebrate the 1781 marriage of James Brice and Julianna Jennings, a union that was truly “Made in Maryland!” Come visit as the women prepare for the big occasion in the bed chambers of the Paca House or visit with James Brice and his friends as they wait in the Paca Garden. A dance master will instruct all wedding guests on the proper dance while live music fills the air! Crafts and activities will prepare visitors for the festive occasion.

Be sure to stop by Hogshead for more exciting living history, and our Historic Annapolis Museum & Store for great specials on items that were “Made in Maryland.”

Time: 12 pm – 4 pm (with the wedding occurring at 1 pm and 2:30 pm at the William Paca House)

Cost: All locations free for HA Members; $1 for Non-Members at the William Paca House, all other locations free
